What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. It speaks to all of the social issues of our day. (II Timothy 3:16)

We believe that there is one God who has revealed Himself as Creator (God the Father), Redeemer (God the Son – Jesus Christ) and Sanctifier (God the Holy Spirit). (Matthew 28:18-20)

We believe that Jesus Christ – true God and true man – is the only way of salvation. (John 14:6)

We believe that Christians are salt and light in the world(Matthew 5:13-14)

We believe that worship services are to be simple, orderly and joyfully centered on God’s Word. (I Corinthians 14:40)

We believe in and uphold the three Christian creeds which unite all Christians around the world; the Apostles’, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds.

We hold to the particular Creeds which also unite all Lutherans around the world – the Small Catechism and the Unaltered Augsburg Confession.
